New formula Herbal Amy's CBD infused Eczema and Psoriasis Cream.

Put this on your shopping list for the people in your life who suffer from eczema.

Starting with the base
Herbal Amy is making the cream with Goat's Milk. Goat's milk has unique nourishing properties that make it the perfect ingredient to add to anything that touches your skin. Goat milk is enriched with protein, fat, iron, vitamin A, B6, B12, C, D, E, copper and selenium. These beneficial nutrients will help replenish and pamper skin gently. The vitamins it contains also means that goat milk has some anti-inflammatory properties and can help reduce the symptoms of eczema.* It has anti-bacterial properties which protects the skin from possible infections.* Goat milk soap is wonderful for people with dry or sensitive skin, especially for those with conditions such as eczema and psoriasis. It is both an anti-aging wonder and a lifesaver for dry and sensitive skin.

Herbal Amy infuses a Botanical Blend in her combination skin health promoting oils. These oils are known for maintaining healthy skin. This formula goes on smooth and provides all the beneficial herbal properties for the care of those suffering from eczema.

Healthy lipids (fats) called ceramides are a part of the surface skin structure that keeps it moisturized. Insufficient amounts of ceramides causes dryness, irritation and increased sensitivity to environmental factors. Having the perfect combination of oils and butters in this product will help you to maintain the essential fatty acids (Omega 3, 6, and 9) necessary for skin health. It is important to have skin loving oils that penetrate the skin, providing vitimins and beneficial amino acids.

It is currently believed that CBD oil has natural pain relieving and anti-inflammatory properties. This helps people who suffer from chronic pain due to injuries or inflammatory conditions such as arthritis [6]. Patients with multiple sclerosis and fibromyalgia have already used CBD oil to great effect in pain relief [6].

β-Caryophyllene from Copaiba Oil is said to activate the CB2 receptor and is a potential therapeutic strategy for inflammation, pain, atherosclerosis, and osteoporosis [1]. The activation of CB2 receptors has been found to support the health of the cardiovascular, immune, digestive, nervous, and respiratory systems [1]. CB2 receptors are also found in the brain and as such β-Caryophyllene may be neuro-protective in a similar fashion as CBD[2]. We look forward to additional research to be performed here in the US. Chromatographic studies showed that the main compound among sesquiterpenes was β-caryophyllene (57.5%), followed by α-humulene, α-copaene, α-bergamotene, δ-cadinene.... all extracted from the Copaiba resin [3].

Properties of Copaiba oil.

These are actually the effects which it produces upon consumption, or application.

- Copaiba interacts directly with CB2 receptors*

- CB2 receptors reside mostly in the immune system*

- CB2 receptors improve immunity, reduce inflammation, and relieve certain types of pain*

Calendula is known for being antifungal, anti-inflammatory, and has antibacterial properties making it useful in healing wounds, soothing eczema, and relieving acne*.

Naturally occurring in the body, the Endocannabinoid System (ECS) consists of a large network of cannabinoid receptors spread throughout the body. The cannabinoids that are released from the ECS system interact with the receptors of almost all the tissues in our body. The role of the ECS is to bring balance to these tissues such as the heart, the digestive, nervous, reproductive and immune systems. Basically, its main aim is to keep the body in a neutral state, and balanced.

Cannabinoid receptors are found in cell membranes of the body that are responsible for regulating your daily mood, appetite, memory and pain sensation. These receptors can be activated by naturally occurring endocannabinoids or, by the cannabinoids found in CBD oil.
